Saturday, October 10th, 2009

its like a mixture word problem.

1. A container is partially filled with 12 liters of whole milk containing 4% butterfat. How much 1% milk must be added to get a mixture that is 2% butterfat? Construct a table, then solve.

2. An 80-pound grass seed mixture is 30% bluegrass seed. How many pounds of seed containing no bluegrass seed (0%) should be added to the seed mixture for a resulting blend that is 20% bluegrass seed? Construct a table, then solve.

How do you think this song would sound ok with bagpipes accompaniment?

I often run these songs through my head to change them up a little. I am a big bluegrass fan and know this song sounds good bluegrass style. But I had a thought about it yesterday, that maybe bagpipes would sound good in the back ground.

07 GTI sound quality help? Thank you?

Monday, September 28th, 2009

I just bought a 2007 2dr automatic GTI, Pkg 1 no leather, with sunroof.
I listen to a lot of AM I need good AM reception.
When I listen to music I listen to all types except RAP, HOUSE, AND
INDUSTRIAL, I do listen to: Bluegrass, Jazz, rock, bagpipes,
pipe organ, motown, country, new age, punk, classical…
I am trying to decide what amps and equipment to go with. I think there are some
digital like Alpine. Also a/b, d
Should I go aftermarket head unit or stay stock and do I loose or
gain features on steering wheel or otherwise. I I want to be able to read the
station time and important stuff in the daytime. I had a
Premier from a few years ago and it was usless in the day.
I have Boston Accoustic Pro 60s I could use(1 set). I also have a
Precision Power Art series A404.2, Mb Quart 300watt sub amp, JL audio
300/2 slash 1.
I am told the GTI I is hard to work on.
I am also told diff. things about what is good etc. is there any place I can find objective reviews, etc.?

Looking for someone who shares my same music interests?

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

Hello. Are there any Bluegrass musicians or fans out there?
I play the bass, but I have nobody to play it with. It would be so awesome to start up a young bluegrass band with some young people (in the Winchester, VA area, preferably) I feel like I’m waisting the little talent that I have!
ps, I also like jazz, phunk, classical(I play cello too) and Raggae. …..oh, I also play the banjo.

….with sea lions right before feeding time for great white sharks, and a song starts playing that sounds like bluegrass. The only lyrics I hear are “We’re goin’ down, down, down!” and it has a fast, foot stomping beat. Anyone know this song?
