Is hard rock music depressing?

We all know that music can have different emotional affects on you. Who thinks that hard rock (such as Three Days Grace, Evanescence, and Disturbed) is depressing?
By the way (to all the haters) I love hard rock - 3DG, Evanescence, Disturbed, Papa Roach, and Linkin Park are some of my favorite bands.
