I’m trying to get a job with a non-profit organization. I would love to work with something dealing with nature esp. (ie- Parks, ect). I am not looking for manual labor though- more in administration or corporate. I find it very hard to even get an interview at such organiations in NYC. Most temp places or “head hunters” deal more with financial or more “typical” companies however. Does anyone in the NYC area know of anyplace that could help, or have any suggestions on how to get my foot in the door at such organizations?

Since there are 2 sides to a coin, and nature seems to find a way to keep balance in it’s system; is division between us natural since it prevents from one side from obtaining absolute power and thus maintaining order, like good and evil, republicans and democrats, anti/pro- this and that, or is it just an unnatural trait in humans?

The person in question did not consent to the manipulation of the picture, and what was done is extremely bad. Is it possible that this person can press charges? If so, what are the implications? I know laws are different for every state, so I will include that this is regarding Illinois law.

Another reality may be based on entirely different sets of laws, and our natural science may be impotent to gain any insight to the workings of such a dimension, simply because of our terms of reference and their irrelavence. (I cannot describe the colour green to the extent that another person knows the nature and quality of my green)

They rebuilt New Orleans, still below sea level. Those fires in California are just a regular thing, Florida’s Hurricane season is just an annual cycle. Should people living in places that get constantly hit by the same natural disaster be eligible for Federal assistance? Seems like a lost cause, building something over and over knowing that it will just be knocked down again.
I didn’t say can’t destroy. I’m talking about the places that are almost guaranteed to.
